Michelle has lived in Logan County most of her life and is proud to call it home. She's a homeschooling mother of two delightfully rambunctious, imaginative, inquisitive children and wife to her high school sweetheart. Michelle attended public school from grades 1-12 and earned her BA and MA from public university, but from the time her oldest turned 6 months old, Michelle knew she wanted to homeschool. Now, after more than 6 years home educating their children, she and her husband can't imagine doing life any other way.
In 2025, HB2827 sparked in her a new interest in home education activism and Michelle, along with other area families, took the issue to the Logan County Board to secure a letter of support for the county's homeschooling families. She continues to closely follow the politics surrounding home education and loves supporting and working with families who are new to the adventure of homeschooling.
We offer homeschool elective classes the third Friday of every month from 1 PM to 3 PM September through May. Our classes range from small engine, herbal education, food, preservation, sewing, electrical, woodworking, creation, science, and many more.
